What is CSA? It’s a system that provides locally grown organic vegetables to families who do not have either the garden or the time to grow their own. Money is paid for a share before the start of the growing season to cover 20 weeks of deliveries at a basket a week. CSA also means sharing in the risk of crop failure or the joy of crop abundance. Being a CSA grower gives us the reason to cultivate an acre of vegetables and at the same time providing us with a tool to teach our philosophy of “Treading Lightly on the Earth”. Usually we have at least one Intern living here, supplemented with various WWOOFers who come and go over the spring, summer and fall. |

What’s a WWOOFer you might ask? WWOOF stands for Willing Workers On Organic Farms. They are young people, normally between 19 and 30, who travel around Canada. At each organic farm they work for their board and keep (5/6 hrs. a day, six days a week). We try to show them what good stewardship is, in the hope that they will adopt some of our ideas into their lives when they move on. |

Our inclusive rates (board and keep) would be:
